| LEAF BLIGHT | All above ground parts are attacked but characteristic symptoms develop on leaves as dark brown, round to irregular spots. Defoliation is very fast. Infected seeds are shrivelled and discoloured. | 1. Spray Dithane M-45 (0.2%) or Difolatan (0.3%).
2. Treat the seed with Agrosan GN (0.2%) or Captan (0.2%).

| LEAF SPOT |
Water soaked spots on the leaves. Spots are olive coloured and oily on lower surface. Fully developed spots are jet black in colour with chlorotic halos. Several spots coalesce and form bigger blotches. Infection spreads from leaves to stem. Cracks are formed on stem.
| 1. Use disease free seeds.
2. Treat seeds with Bavistin (0.2%).
3. Spray Difolatan (0.2%) or Bavistin (0.1%).

| ANTHRACNOSE | Small, dark, depressed spots appear on the leaves, stem and pods. In later stages, these spots enlarge and girdle the stem and pods. Sometimes die-back symptoms develop on well developed plant. Black to brown spots appear on infected seeds.
| Treat the seed with Ceresan dry (0.3%) or Captan (0.3%). |
